Amy

Our friends Chris and Amy got married this past weekend. The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was a blast (complete with a choreographed 1st dance by the bride and groom to such wedding classics as "Thriller", and "Footloose"), but I am especially excited that I am finally able to post Amy's bridal photos! As you can see, she looked stunning, and with her creamy skin and blue eyes, I thought she looked like something out of a Renoir painting.

Chris was Amy's tennis coach when they were first getting to know each other, so we thought it fitting to snap some shots on a nearby tennis court.

Cousins

My mother-in-law's birthday was this week and she wanted a photo of all the grandkids for her birthday. So we all got together Sunday to get a picture....but when you're trying to get 4 kids under the age of 4 (and most of whom were missing their naptime) to cooperate, it gets a bit interesting. If you're a client who has worried about your kids not being completely gung-ho about taking pictures and I tell you not to worry....this is why! We did not get ONE picture of all the kids looking at the camera and smiling at the same time, but we did get some funny outtakes. And we all decided that next time we do this, someone needs to get a video of all the adults standing behind me acting like monkeys trying to get the kids to look and smile.

How to know you have a little boy....

This photo pretty much captures the girls' attitudes throughout the shoot; Charlotte smiling and cheery, Sienna distracted, and Evangeline crying.

We lost William....

It's sort of a lost cause at this point.

Thomas and Christopher had some fun with the kids (don't worry, they're behind that tree holding them)...

Swimming!

A few days ago, Jonathan's friends Chris and Austin brought Chris' nephews over for some swim time with William.

The Seeburgers

This morning I got to meet and photograph three generations of this beautiful family at the Dallas Arboretum. (If you like the Arboretum and you didn't already know...during the month of August admission is only one dollar a person!) It was hot, but not nearly as bad as it's been, so we got lucky. The kids also enjoyed running around and I'm sure they took some long naps this afternoon! Anyway, here are a few of my favorites...
