This beautiful family came out and braved the unseasonable cold this past Saturday to take some bluebonnet pictures. Luckily, Dad found a great secluded patch of bluebonnets that blocked most of the wind and it turned out to be a really nice day in out little spot. I can't believe how big these kiddos are getting! Every time I see them they just seem so much bigger. And what little cuties!

Gianna - 3 Months
Gianna is 3 Months already! Babies change so much during those first few months of life - and Gianna is no exception. I'm not sure I would have recognized her if I had just seen her out and about somewhere. She is so alert and aware now - and was in such a good mood the whole time I was there with such a sweet smile. She also had not only Mom, Dad, brother, and sister there to take pictures with her, but grandparents, aunt, and cousin too. What a lucky gal!

The Neris
This is a brave family. You would never know it from looking at these pictures but it was COLD during their session - maybe 40 degrees and feeling like 30 - with wind. Although it wasn't ideal conditions for doing a photo session, especially with kids, it actually went really well. There was a lot of jumping up and down, running around, and laughing which helped warm everyone up and made for some great photo ops.

Liliana & Louis
I know that taking family portraits can be a stressful event for parents. Quality photography is an investment, and once the date is set, then you fret over the weather and what everyone is going to wear. I think parents with small children almost always come away from our portrait sessions thinking "Did we get anything good at all!?!?". The reason I mention this now is because I have been sitting here giggling for the past couple hours as I work on this beautiful family's portraits, specifically because about half of the pictures that I have of little Louis, he is running madly out of the frame with an ecstatic look of joy on his face. I should just do a mash-up of all the exultation. While I know that his rapturous running was probably a little stressful for Mom and Dad, it was absolutely adorable and I love how these all turned out. Here they are all, including twins Liliana and Louis....
Such pretty blue eyes! Smile after smile from these two.
Stunning couple!
