Merry Christmas
Merry (late) Christmas everyone! I am waiting to hear back from Canon on the damage to my camera, so there will be no photos of Christmas this blog :( However, we did have a great couple, one in Lubbock Christmas Eve with my parents and Grandma and one Christmas Day with Jonathan's family back here in Irving. I hope you all had a great Christmas as well!!

Heather's Bridal
This is a shoot I've been looking forward to for a loooong time. Meet Heather. She and I met in our high school theater class and developed an almost instaneous bond that is still going strong. She is one of the best people you will ever meet and she is getting married in February, so . . . . of course I offered to do her bridal. Was it a fun shoot!! My camera broke last week during a basketball game throwing me into a panic, but my friend and fabulous photographer Kristin Bednarz bailed me out by loaning me her (gulp!) new Canon 5D. So great friend, great camera...what more could I want? Heather looked absolutely beautiful!! Jimmy is not going to know what hit him when she walks down the aisle! Her mom and sister Kimberly came along too and were very helpful in keeping me and my gear together (thanks!). Anyway, here are some of my faves.

JV and Freshmen Kemp Tournament
Crandall JV and Freshmen boys' basketball had their first tournament of the season this past weekend in Kemp and both teams took 3rd place. All the games Saturday were incredibly close...which makes for good basketball but also nearly gives you a heart attack!! Anyway, here are a few shots from the games.
OK, this next picture is Casey. He made a 3-pointer at the buzzer to win 3rd place for the JV team...I don't actually have the shot (I know, I know) because I was watching instead of shooting, but it was pretty cool.
