Jim & Dora

Yesterday I photographed the wedding of Dora and Jim. Weddings are always fun, but this one was especially special as I have sung with Dora and her sister Sarah for the past few years with the Collegium Cantorum. Poor Dora was feeling a little under the weather, but you never would have known it by looking at her. She was a beautiful bride and was positively glowing. Congratulations again you two, and I hope you enjoy your photos!

Delilah shot the wedding with me, so of course, we had to snap a pic....

The Rock...and I'm not talking about Dwayne Johnson

Today I ran the 39th annual White Rock Half Marathon. I have been training for months and have really been looking forward to this. The last time I ran it, there were some runners who had their names on their shirts, and as we ran, some of the spectators would cheer for them by name. So I thought that this year I would make my own shirt. Last night Jonathan and I had a birthday party and a Christmas party to attend, so I though I would bring the shirt along and let some of my friends help decorate it, and well, here is the result. I'm really glad I did it. Even if they weren't with me in body, it felt like they were with me in spirit and that was pretty cool. Thanks to everyone who showed up to support. It really helps having people there cheering you on!!

Our friend Jon Bird is a really good artist and he drew me this wing. I think it helped me go faster.

Just thought I'd throw in my shoes. We've been through a lot together.

Will, Delilah, & Siena/Christmas Card Pics

Last weekend Jonathan, William, and I met up with our friends Will and Delilah and their daughter Siena to do a joint Christmas card photo session. Delilah has gotten into photography over the past year or so, and we decided that instead of trying to take our own Christmas photos, we'd just get together and photograph each other, which worked out really great. It was much easier doing it this way, plus we got to hang out with our friends and eat pizza afterward. If you'd like to check out Delilah's blog, you can see it here.

We decided to snap a few of just Delilah and Will. I'm not sure if they've ever had photos of just them. Delilah photographs so well. I mean, she's beautiful anyway, but she's definitely one of those people that looks really good on camera. Makes my job easy!

Will does a lot of Spoken Word Poetry - both performing it himself and teaching it. Some of you might have seen a post I did on his DaVerse Lounge a couple months ago. Anyway, he wanted to get some head shots, etc. for his portfolio, so here are a few of those.

And finally, here are a few shots of us that Delilah took. William was not about taking pictures, so we only managed to get a couple good ones. He was mostly trying to escape the whole time. Oh well.
