I'm sad. My computer has decided to stop working on me, so I don't have any photos for you. I'm taking it to Dr. Apple Store today to see if it can't be fixed.
I DO have some good news though. I have a new website that I've been working hard on and there are plenty of photos for you to look at there, so check it out! www.emilyalexanderphotography.com Feedback of course is always welcome.

Amy and Vito
OK, this blog is WAY overdue, but here it is....some of you know that Jonathan and I lived in Rome for awhile with his sister Amy. When we came back to the States, Amy stayed, and in August, she came for a visit with her Italian boyfriend Vito. We had a lot of fun hanging out with the two of them and practicing our Italian. As this was Vito's first time in the States, we wanted to give him a "real" Texas experience. We took him to the stockyards, Red River, Schmitz, out for bar-b-q, and of course, Central Market....ok, that's not very Texan, but we took him there anyway. Here are the few photos I took before they made me stop. (apparentely you can't take pictures there!)
Schmitz. If you like good fried cookin' and cold brew, this is the place to go.
William and Vito had a lot of fun together...
Here is a little sampling of one of the dinners Vito cooked for us. Yum!!
You think he'd make it through customs?

Vanessa's Birthday
Today is my beautiful friend Vanessa's birthday and last night we went out with some friends to celebrate. We started off at Campania. If you haven't been there and you live in the DFW area, you should go. It's he closest thing to a real Italian pizzeria we've been able to find here. We had to wait awhile for a table, so I goofed off with the camera a little.
Here are Vanessa and her boyfriend Arturo. He bought her some gorgeous Stuart Weitzmans for her present. Yummy.
And of course with our friend Candel. We all sang for years together in the choir.

Dilan is 3 Months!
Dilan is growing so fast! I shot his three-month photo session yesterday and couldn't believe how big he has gotten. Of course I knew it was going to happen, but it was fun to see how much he's changed so quickly. He was holding his head up, looking around, smiling...although I think as soon as I left he probably took a long nap!
