James & Lourdes (the Wedding)

This past week, James and Lourdes got married and I have to say, this may be one of my favorite weddings that I've had the opportunity to photograph.  I felt like their wedding day was full of everything a wedding day should be full of - I don't think I've ever seen a more relaxed bride and groom who were so obviously in love with each other and who enjoyed their day more.  And the DETAILS!  Lourdes and James did so much work on their reception site and enlisted the help of so many of their friends who, from what I was told, worked really hard to make it beautiful and special....and it really was.  James is an arborist and he and his groomsmen cut up trees for pathways, tables, seating areas, mulch to cover the ground... (you get the picture).  One of Lourdes' bridesmaids is an artist and she created many (if not all) of the decorations.  Everyone pitched in to bring it all together.  Everywhere you looked it seemed that there was something that was personal to one of them.  Needless to say, i've gone a bit overboard on some of my detail shots, so bear with me!
