Happy (belated) 4th!

We went to probably the coolest playground I have been to while we were in El Paso. It had a smaller area for younger kids, a music area, a climbing wall and ropes, a garden, and pretty much everything else you would expect to find in a playground.

When we arrived, this lady pulled up right behind us and blasted music from her truck while working out. We couldn't even get William to come into the playground he was so enthralled with her.

Jonathan made some really yummy stuffed jalepenos...

My sister and her boyfriend Jason were able to make it a couple days after we arrived. It is the first time our family has been together in a year and a half, so that was really nice. Alli and Jason played on an ultimate frisbee team in college and spend some time throwing the frisbee around while we were cooking out.

Our Day Today

We're in El Paso visiting my parents for the 4th and they are doing their best to make sure William has a great time. He played in their dog's drink bowl, ate a ton of blueberries, ate an Eskimo Pie, played in the sprinkler and finished it off on the Slip n Slide. Needless to say, he is passed out and I expect he will be sleeping late tomorrow.

Here is a shot of our dinner. Grilled Shrimp and Pasta and Cream Cheese Stuffed Pepperazzi. So yummy.

Ryan & Heather (wedding for Kristin Bednarz) P1

Whew! I'm FINALLY getting the blog up that I was hoping to have finished Monday. Let's just say it's been an interesting week and weekend.

I 2nd shot this beautiful wedding for my friend Kristin Bednarz in Lubbock this past Saturday. She went with the girls and I spent the day with the guys. It is so funny to me how differently guys and girls spend the day leading up to a wedding. Ryan and all his guys started off the day at a shooting range, then bowled a couple games at South Plains Lanes before changing quickly and heading to the church. Here are some of my favorites from the first part of the day....

Yes, that is me. Somehow I ended up shooting a gun for the first time with these guys and Ryan took over as photographer for a minute. It was an AR 15 if I remember correctly. Wow. Talk about power!

Watching the guys bowl was pure comedy. They were really competitive and into the games.
