Big News

That's right, we are going to have a baby! We've been waiting to share the news until I had my first doctor's visit, and I did this past Tues. The pictures below are from my sonogram today. Very exciting!!

Here is a pretty good picture of the baby. It was moving around a lot, waving its arms and legs. I drew on the same picture below identifying body parts in case if you have trouble (like I do) figuring out what is in these pictures.

And our child is a whopping 2.66 cm long!! Huge, I know. I am 9 1/2 weeks along, so round about Oct. 14th, there will be a new Alexander running around!!! Just wanted to share the news!

HOW EXCITING! I couldn't be happier for you both.
Welcome to the wonderful, eventful, exciting and scary new world that is parenthood!
You're entire life I'm sured you've heard that no one loves you like your parents; that there is no love like that of a parent. You will soon learn this is true.
Enjoy it and look forward to a love that is indescribable, unimaginable and the most fulfilling in the world!!!

Speaking for the grandparents, I am thrilled. That is one cute kid. Looks like me (no hair). I wonder if his/her hair will be red.
