Will & Delilah
October is apparently the month for people that we know to get married this year. If you have followed my blog for any amount of time, there is a good chance you've seen Will and Delilah before. They are a couple of very special people who have been friends of ours for years (Will was even in our wedding 8 years ago!), Will and Jonathan having met and become close playing basketball in college. Delilah and I met through the guys and she and I have photographed several weddings together and become friends ourselves. Will and Delilah have been together 15 years and their love story is one that proves that beautiful relationships don't necessarily follow a straight path. That being said, I have to say their wedding ceremony was one of the most moving I've seen. Not that I haven't witnessed some amazing ceremonies united some incredible people - and several with people I very much care about - but too often I am so focused on the technical aspect of what I'm doing that I'm not able to be very emotionally connected. I honestly don't know exactly what made this ceremony different but I was very aware of what was happening before me on a different level than usual. All I can say is that I felt that every person in the church was wholly present in a way I'm not sure I've experienced before - every person was there and joyful 100% and the Holy Spirit was in the room. It was powerful. And the party wasn't too bad, either...Anyway, on to the photos....
