First Time For Everything

Tonight we gave William his first bath in the sink. I've been giving him sponge baths pretty much exclusively since he was born - there were a couple times we tried to take him in the actual tub when we were in there, but that didn't work out so well. So tonight we tried. I filled up the sink and put his legs in.....and he screamed. I don't mean he cried, I mean he screamed. It scared me to death. I thought I had burned him. I pulled him out and he stopped right away. We think he was just scared - apparently he didn't remember the tub baths - but we had our first of what I'm sure will be many heart-stopping moments with him. Yucky. Anyway, after we got him in the sink and he decided maybe he'd try it, Jonathan snapped a couple pics. You can see him looking warily at the water at first. After a couple minutes he decided it was ok and started smiling and kicking, but yeesh!!!
