Siena's 3rd Birthday
Our friends Will and Delilah (who you might have seen before a few times on the blog) invited us to their daughter's 3rd birthday party this past weekend. They had it at the petting zoo at Fritz Park in Irving. If you haven't been there, it is a really cool little place. The zoo is free and they charge just a minimal fee for use of one of the buildings for a party. They are only open June and July due to a lack of funding from taxpayers, but you should definitely check it out if you have kids.
This little guy escaped from his pen when one of the kids opened the latch. It took them awhile to get him corralled and he did NOT want to go back!
Here are some of the kids following the goat back to his pen.
Delilah is also a photographer. You can check out her blog here.
After cake, Will's friend AP brought out all kinds of instruments for the kids to play. He was really good with them and everyone had a blast playing and dancing and running around playing games. Definitely good old fashioned (re: free) entertainment that the kids loved. Goes to show you do not need to spend a lot of money to have a great party!
